Absolutely disgusting.. I just want to cry. I understand that you guys try to clean the plastiCuffs yourself by running the machine over them with the attachments and what not, but you can still see all the crap on the sleeves from the discoloration and yellowing. Like the lady above said, you have to spend money on replacements and that is the real reason why you should always invest in good quality plastiCuffs.
Disappointed to have got one that was so damaged, I can see I'll be sending it back to the store. Have just had an email back saying the sleeve is not covered. With the monies I spent on the machine, which was the end of the month, that's a bit of a waste.
absolutely disgraceful but surprise me even more the reviews from avid users of the serial. I just bought one and had a damaged plastic sleeve and was told that it was covered, I have a k3 and its amazing!!! still learning on it but the plastic sleeve is a complete disgrace, it comes with the smed and the hard drive which is a good bonus but obviously not a plug and play kit. Thanks for the review! I got my Acid Pro 7.1 because the screen died after I played a few months and I didn't want to spend any more money on it. I had the same problem that some of you had with the plastic sleeve (although it was covered when I bought it). I put it in my PC to store and never used it until it turned yellow and discolored. I just got it back and noticed that it still looks awful. I have been reading a lot of reviews on the internet and noticed a lot of complaints about these sleeves. I was a little shocked that it is still sold. Does anybody have a solution for this problem? Can you send me a new sleeve so that I won't have to get rid of my new machine?
I have been using this machine for about 4 months now and love it. I have only had one issue and this is related to the plastic sleeve which is quite easy to remove and is much more easily replaced than with other plastiCuffs. I don't think I have ever seen a plastiCuff which is not easily removable or easy to replace. Anyway, on a more positive note, it has been a very fast machine with great features. I love it and would recommend it to anybody.
