Part 1
It had been less than two weeks since the events of the Purge had ended. There were still people everywhere to find the former Prior Malak and the man he had betrayed. The knights had captured the Lord of Blades and taken him to jail. The Bureau had taken his most precious artifact, along with the Necromancer who was blamed for the murders of almost every Prior since the Great Schism. But worst of all, the Shattered Sea had been invaded by humans.
While they were all recovering from the effects of the Purge, the Bureau had called a Council. This week, much of the Bureau’s resources had been poured into finding the Prior and the Lord of Blades. They had searched the world for the man and the treasure and brought them together for the Council.
Ezreal had flown there himself to meet with the strange man, Antal, and the silver haired woman, Aria. They had been searching for Antal’s father, and the lost land of Cyrea, for a very long time. And now the silver haired woman was in the process of resurrecting a powerful and ancient artifact that would be named Elesia. While the two had each had their own purposes in the council, Ezreal could tell that they were close friends, or at least allies.
For him, the Council was only an afterthought. He had come to investigate the strange man, and to bring the Necromancer to justice. He had heard a rumor that the Necromancer had died when he was still inside the man. Ezreal knew that this could not be true, but he wanted to see for himself that the man was dead.
The next day, as they met with the Council, Ezreal had not been surprised when Aria and Antal had arrived. He had expected them to join them for the meeting, even though Ezreal knew that she was the one who was holding the artifact in her hands. Antal’s father had called it the Light-Bringer, and Aria had acquired it in their early travels. While she told the others that she could control it, she had refused to explain to Ezreal and the others exactly what it did.
The metal was bright silver in color and the glass was clear. Ezreal had heard that the two had been traveling for a long time and that they were searching for a place called Cyrea. Ezreal had never heard of the lost land of Cyrea
